How to Use:
1. **Pre-drill:** Drill a pilot hole slightly smaller than the screw's shank diameter (not the thread diameter) to prevent splitting and ease driving. Depth should match the unthreaded shank length.
2. **Align:** Insert the screw through the top material (e.g., metal bracket) into the wood substrate. The square neck under the head will embed into the wood or lock into the top material, preventing rotation.
3. **Drive:** Use the **correct size Torx driver bit** (e.g., T40 for M10 screw). Apply high torque with an impact driver or heavy-duty drill. The Torx drive minimizes slippage, allowing full force application even in dense wood.
